A conversion from mortar bedded ridge tiles to mechanical fixing (dry ridge) and the fitting of dragon finial.
The tiles on this roof were disarranged so we lifted the tiles and found the roof battens to be... The repair was carried out and the tiles are once againg aligned.
We received a call from a client in Forest Row. Thier flat roof was old, tired and leaky. We managed to recover it and give it a new life.
Our client had a problem with a leaky GRP roof (Glass Reinforced Plastic) roof, it was full of pinholes due to improper installation. The roof also had water ponding. We sorted that problem with American made GACO Pro silicone coating.
Hip roof ridge repair. We took off the ridge caps that were embedded in old, brittle mortar. Cleared the are a of debris and dust and freshly bedded them in new mortar.
Another one of our clients will never again have problems with moss, lichen or algae on their roof. Permanent moss prevention system.
Another dry ridge conversion done and upgraded to the building regulations. All of the ridge caps (half-round tiles) are now mechanically fixed to the roof and will resist the harshest of winds. Dry ridge installation
We built this decking and pergola for a client in Forest Row. The client had a rough design in his mind and the structure had to be adjusted to accommodate the target, also it had to be made safe for the neighbours, with all the arrows whizzing about. Decking and pergola
This video explains why lambda values (W/Km) are only a part of the story. And why the material with the lowest lambda value doesn't mean it is the best insulation material.
This is a great video explaining U-value. Enjoy.
